Working with an Investment Advisor
IIAC has put together some common questions that investors often have when they embark on a new relationship with an investment advisor. Click here to view a copy of the IIAC 5 Ws of Investing.
How do you pay for your advisor?
Consideration of fees are important when choosing an investment advisor. Ensure you talk to your investment advisor and that you are comfortable with the fees you will be paying.
For instance, some advisors will charge a flat fee while others will charge for each investment you purchase.
Remember fees are part of the investment process and since your advisor will be working hard for you, they should in turn be compensated.
